Two charged with trafficking $18,030 worth of carfentanyl, crystal meth, cocaine

Since March 2019 members of the Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit have been investigating a Niagara Falls resident trafficking carfentanyl in the Niagara Region.

Police conducted surveillance and made observations that were consistent with drug trafficking over the course of the investigation.

On April 15, 2019 police arrested a male and female in connection with this investigation. Police seized 23. 6 grams of carfentanyl, 47.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 62.0 grams of cocaine with a total value of $18,030.

34-year-old Ryan Wilson of Niagara Falls is facing the following charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance x3 Section 5(2)CDSA
  • Possession of a controlled substance x2 Section 4(1)CDSA
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000 Section 355(b) CC
  • Breach of recognizance 145(3) CC

27-year-old Karissa Watkins of Niagara Falls is facing the following charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance x3 Section 5(2)CDSA
  • Possession of a controlled substance x2 Section 4(1) CDSA
