Three people are facing charges following an investigation into the suspected sale of cocaine and fentanyl in the City of St. Catharines.

On June 27, 2019 members of the 1 District (St. Catharines) Street Crime Unit arrested a male and female in the parking lot of a business in the area of Welland Ave and Bunting Rd at approximately 10:50 a.m.

Approximately seven grams of fentanyl with an estimated street value of $1400 as well as 46 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $4600 were seized.

45-year-old Michael Hook of St. Catharines and 32-year-old Stephanie Sicard of St. Catharines are both facing the alleged charges of:

  • 2 Counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

38-year-old Todd Mayer of St. Catharines was also arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance

Hook, Sicard and Mayer are all currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday June 28, 2019 at the Robert S.K. Welch courthouse in the City of St. Catharines
