Suspects sought following Welland high school break-in (3 photos)

On Sept. 9, 2020 at 12:22 a.m., members of the 3 District (Welland) Uniform Patrol responded to a break and enter at Jean Vanier High School located at 620 River Rd. in the city of Welland.

Investigation revealed a 10-foot aluminum break valued at $4,000 dollars was stolen from the outdoor technological education area. The aluminum break is described as silver with red handles.

The Niagara Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify two suspects and a vehicle that was captured on video surveillance.

Suspect #1 description:
    •    Male
    •    White
    •    6’2” tall
    •    Slim build
    •    Clean shaven

Suspect #2 description:
    •    Male
    •    White
    •    5’9” tall
    •    Slim build
    •    Clean shaven

Vehicle description:
    •    Chevrolet Silverado
    •    older model
    •    dark in colour
    •    distinctive markings on the box – paint sanded down on both sides

This incident remains under investigation by members of 3 District Uniform Patrol.
