St. Catharines man faces serious charges after Brant Township traffic stop

Driver accused of driving without license, while prohibited x5, fail to comply x2 and traffic violations

BRANT TOWNSHIP - On Aug. 8, 2020 at 9:31 p.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol stopped a vehicle along Bruce County Road 4 in Brant Township. The officer found that the driver didn't have a drivers licence.

Christopher Cook, 42 years old of St. Catharines, was charged with five counts of Drive while Prohibited, two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation, Disobey Stop Sign, Improper Turn and Drive without Insurance. 

The accused was held in custody pending the result of a bail hearing scheduled for Aug. 8, 2020.
