Police seize 107 grams of fentanyl, arrest three for trafficking

Since the summer of 2018, members of the 1 District (St. Catharines) Street Crime Unit have been investigating two males allegedly trafficking fentanyl in the Niagara region.

Following an investigation, with the assistance of the Emergency Task Unit, two males and a female were arrested leaving a motel in the City of Niagara Falls on Thursday April 3, 2019.

Detectives seized 107 grams of fentanyl with a potential street value of $32,000 and 3 grams of cocaine with a potential street value of $200, along with $6,400 in currency.

21-year-old Jerome Green of the City of Brampton is facing the following alleged charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance (2 counts)
  • Possession of proceeds obtained by crime
  • Fail to comply with recognizance (2 counts)

21-year-old Jervain Green of the City of Brampton is facing the following alleged charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance (2 counts)
  • Possession of proceeds obtained by crime
  • Fail to comply with recognizance

21-year-old Kaheisha Pinnock from the City of Brampton is facing the following alleged charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance (2 counts)
  • Possession of proceeds obtained by crime

Both males are currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines.

Pinnock has been release on a Promise to Appear/Officer in Charge (PTA/OIC) with a court date on May 2, 2019 in the City of St. Catharines.
