Police seek three suspects after Welland stabbing

The Niagara Regional Police are asking for the public's assistance to help in identifying three suspects involved in a altercation that occurred on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the City of Welland.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., an altercation occurred near the intersection of Morningstar Avenue and Coventry Road. The altercation involved five males and resulted in two of the males being stabbed.

Both victims in this incident attended the Welland County General Hospital where they were treated for non life-threatening injuries and are expected to make a full recovery.

The three suspects involved in this incident are described as being male, white and between the ages of 18-25 years.

Suspect 1 is described as approximately 5'06", 150-155 lbs. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a black hat.

Suspect 2 is described as 5'04", 120-130 lbs. with bushy hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Suspect 3 is described as 5'07"-5'09", 150 lbs. with bushy red hair and unshaven.
