Police seek public assistance locating missing St. Catharines man (update: located)

8 p.m. update: Earlier this evening 1 District St. Catharines officers located Emanuel Nayman safe in St. Catharines.

The NRPS would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter.

Original release, 4 p.m.: The Niagara Regional Police Service is currently searching for a missing 26-year-old man in the City of St. Catharines.

On Aug. 11, 2020, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Emanuel Nayman was last seen in his residence in the area of Ontario Street and Lowell Avenue in St. Catharines.  Family members discovered Nayman missing later that morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. 

Nayman is believed to have left the family home overnight. His means of transportation at the time is unknown, but he often walks.

Nayman is described as being: 

  • White • 6'3" tall  
  • Goatee facial hair  
  • Slim build

Nayman's clothing at the time he went missing is unknown.

Police are concerned for Nayman's welfare and are requesting the public's help in locating him.
