Police say they are investigating after a man was found dead this morning in Chippawa.
At around 7:20 a.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) officers attended the area of Sodom Road and Weaver Road for an assist ambulance call.
Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male deceased on the west side of Sodom Road, Niagara Regional Police said in a news release.
Detectives with the collision reconstruction unit are seeking the public’s help with the investigation.
Anyone who may have been in the area anyone who may have video/dash cam footage between April 4 and 7 a.m. on April 8 is asked to review their footage and contact police if they observe anything suspicious at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009472.
Police said Sodom Road remained closed between Weaver Road and Miller Road. Drivers were asked to find alternate routes.
