Niagara Regional Police looking for suspect in St. Catharines robbery

The suspect fled the area and a K9 search of the area was not successful

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday April 15, 2020, 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers were called to a business in the area of Merritt Street and Glendale Avenue in the City of St. Catharines following the report of a robbery.  

The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival; a K9 search of the area was unsuccessful. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a heavy set, white male, wearing a black hooded sweater with the hood up, black sweat pants, white running shoes, and black/red/white gloves.
