Niagara Falls woman attacked by two masked men, police say

On March 14, 2019 at approximately 10:40 p.m., 2 District Niagara Falls officers of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended a residence in the area of Northwood Drive and Cardinal Drive in the City of Niagara Falls. Officers were called there for a report of an assault.

Investigating officers learned that at approximately 10:30 p.m., a Niagara Falls women returning home from work pulled her car into her driveway. When she exited the car to open the garage, she was confronted by two masked males. The victim was repeatedly punched and kicked until the suspects fled from the scene of the assault in a car.

The victim received care on scene for minor injuries from Niagara Emergency Medical Service Paramedics.

Detectives continue to investigate this assault. It has not been determined if this was a random act or a targeted assault.

The suspects are described as:
    •    Asian males
    •    5'6 ft. tall with slim builds
    •    wearing dark clothing and masks

The suspects were believed to driving a small grey compact car.
