On Aug. 1, 2020, 2 District (Niagara Falls Casino Unit) uniform officers attended the Niagara Brewing Company located on Clifton Hill in the City of Niagara Falls in relation to a sexual assault.
Investigation revealed that at approximately 12:45 a.m., a 22-year-old female attended a bathroom at the Niagara Brewing Company. Upon exiting the bathroom, a lone male suspect started to converse with her. During the conversation the male began to make advances towards her that were unwanted. As a result, she was sexually assaulted. The interaction ended after another female patron exited the bathroom, which inadvertently interrupted the interaction.
The female did not know the male suspect and his identity is still unknown.
The suspect is described as the following:
Description:
• Middle Eastern
• 20-30 years old
• Black hair
• Black manicured facial hair
Clothing description:
• Wearing a black t-shirt
• Light coloured jeans
• Black running shoes
This incident remains under investigation by detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Sexual Assault Unit.
