On Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., 1 District, St. Catharines Uniform officers responded to a found property call at 68 Church St., in the City of St. Catharines.
A member of the public attended the 1 District office, to report that at 5:15 p.m., he had located $500-$1000 in the area of Collier Road South and Confederation Avenue, in the City of Thorold.
The money was located on the street.
Police are looking to identify the owner. Any member of the public who believes the money to be theirs will be required to provide information that will allow officers to confirm ownership.
