Large lamp post stolen from St. Catharines cathedral

In September of 2019, the Niagara Regional Police Service began investigating multiple theft and mischief incidents that have taken place at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, located at 3 Lyman St., St. Catharines.

One particular item that has been stolen is a large bronze and copper lamp post. It is believed that this item was stolen late Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 or early Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019.

Detectives are appealing  to the public for information regarding these incidents. If anyone has information or witnessed any suspicious activity in the area you are urged to contact Detectives from the 1 District Detective Office in St. Catharines.
