Fraud investigation in Fort Erie leads to arrest

On Feb. 9, 2019, uniform members along with 5 District Criminal Investigative Branch began investigating a rash of fraudulent transactions that were occurring at various business within the Town of Fort Erie with the use of stolen credit/debit cards.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 50-year-old Michael Lucchesi with five counts of Use of Stolen Credit Card and five counts for Possessing a Stolen Credit Card.
