Drugs, cash, guns seized during search warrant

During the month of June 2019, detectives from the #1 District Street Crime Unit initiated a drug investigation in the City of St. Catharines. 

On June 18, 2019, detectives were successful in obtaining a Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrant for a residence in south St. Catharines. Police seized over $2,000 in cocaine and methamphetamine and several hundred dollars in proceeds of crime. Police also seized three long guns during the investigation, two which have been altered. 

Charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance, one count of possession of proceeds obtained by crime, three counts of careless storage of a firearm, three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, one count of unauthorized possession of ammunition, and two counts of fail to comply with a recognizance is 33-year-old Jeffery Allard of St. Catharines.

Allard was held in custody and will appear at a bail hearing June 19, 2019 in St. Catharines.
