Drug-related call leads to four arrests in Niagara Falls

When officers arrived on scene, an investigation revealed three of the four people had warrants out for their arrest and the vehicle they were in had been reported stolen

On Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 at approximately 12:59 p.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls) Uniform officers attended the area of Pitton Road and Catalina Street, in the City of Niagara Falls for a drug related call.

Officers arrived on scene and located a stolen vehicle with four suspects inside.

Further investigation revealed that three of the four suspects had warrants out for their arrest.

Subsequently, stolen property was located inside the stolen vehicle.

Kristie L. Strauss (29 years old) of Fort Erie, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime (two Counts)

Strauss was held in custody, pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on Oct. 17, 2020, at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.

Daniel R. Davison (34 years old) of Fort Erie, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime (two counts)
  • Fail to comply with probation order

Davison was held in custody, pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on Oct. 17, 2020, at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.

Chelsy Augustine (27 years old) of Fort Erie, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime (two counts)
  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Theft of a motor vehicle
  • Break and enter

Augustine was held in custody, pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on Oct. 17, 2020, at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.

Christopher S. Sloggett (40 years old) of Fort Erie, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime (two counts)
  • Fail to comply with probation order

Sloggett was held in custody, pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on Oct. 17, 2020, at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.
