Jan. 28 update:

As part of an ongoing investigation, detectives with #2 District (Niagara Falls) Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) are releasing the attached photographs of the suspect.

Jan. 22 original release:

On Jan. 22, 2019, uniform officers from #2 District Niagara Falls responded to a financial institution business located in the area of Lundy's Lane and Drummond Road in response to a robbery.

Officers attending the scene quickly learned that shortly after 4:30 p.m., a lone disguised male entered the business and approached an employee and physically took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene on foot pushing a bicycle. A Police Canine Unit attended the area and conducted a suspect track in the area without success.
 
The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • 25-30
  • 5'4"
  • 130 Lbs
  • Wearing: checkered dark hoodie, sunglasses, and dark boots

The investigation remains ongoing by Detectives from the #2 District Criminal Investigations Branch. Anyone with information is asked to contact (905) 688-4111 ext. 2200 or Crime Stoppers.
