In March 2019, detectives from the #1 District Street Crime Unit began an investigation into drug trafficking in the city of St. Catharines.
On April 19, detectives executed a search warrant at an address in St. Catharines and seized 22 grams of cocaine, a small amount of crack cocaine, and a quantity of Canadian currency.
Charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds obtained by crime is 34-year-old Joseph Harper of St. Catharines.
Harper was released on a promise to appear and will appear in court at a later date.
