On Sunday, police responded to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4, 383 Morningstar Ave., Welland, in regard to a break-in, which had occurred at 5:20 a.m.
Evidence revealed that the cowardly suspect(s) entered through a basement window and stole items from within an office consisting of a safe and Canadian currency.
Police are looking to identify the suspect(s) and charge them. Further, the stolen items are being sought to be returned to the Legion.
