Arrests made in relation to Niagara Falls commercial break-ins

Since December 2018 there have been a rash of break and enters occurring at commercial storage units within the City of Niagara Falls. Members of the Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit gathered evidence that lead to the execution of a search warrant which recovered stolen property from the break and enters.

Police have laid the following charges in relation to this investigation:

Thirty-three-year-old Ashley Powell of Niagara Falls

  • Break and enter commit theft: Section 348(1)(b)CC
  • Possession of property obtained by crime: Section 355(b) CC

Thirty-eight-year-old Raymond Orcutt of Niagara Falls

  • Break and enter commit theft x5: Section 348(1)(b) CC
