Initial information revealed that a 21-year-old male was operating a black Chevrolet Cobalt when it struck a 25-year-old male and a 23-year-male, then proceeded to strike a tree. The male driver fled the scene on foot and was observed getting into another vehicle in the area of Church Street.

The 25-year-old pedestrian was transported to an out of region hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 23-year-old pedestrian suffered minor injuries.

Further investigation revealed that the collision was a deliberate attempt to strike one of the pedestrians.
