At approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers were called to the area of Third Street South and President Crt. in the City of St. Catharines following the reports of a violent home robbery.
Investigation has revealed that three men armed with handguns forced their way into the home and assaulted the elderly male and female who were home at the time.
The male suspects then fled in a black car.
The male victim was transported to hospital for assessment and treatment of non-life threatening injuries while the female was not physically harmed.
Officers with the 1 District Detective Office are looking for three white males who were wearing dark masks covering their faces wearing dark clothing.
