$8K worth of crystal meth, fentanyl seized in St. Catharines drug bust

A two-month drug investigation in St. Catharines has led to an arrest and seizure of drugs and cash.

Since January of 2020, the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), 1 District – St. Catharines Street Crime Unit, have been investigating the sales of fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.

The investigation led them to a residence in the area of Welland Avenue and Cushman Road.  Over the course of the investigation officers gathered evidence that resulted in the granting of a search warrant for the residence.

On Thursday, March 19, 2020, at approximately 8:00 p.m. officers executed the search warrant and entered the residence. A female located in the home was placed under arrest.

Officers proceeded to conduct a search of the residence. Officers located and seized suspected:

  • Crystal methamphetamine ($6000)
  • Fentanyl ($2000)

Also seized was $2600 in Canadian currency as proceeds of crime.

Holly Elizabeth Windsor (32 years old) of St. Catharines has been arrested and charged with the alleged criminal offences of:           

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.

Windsor was released on a promise to appear with a future court date of May 21, 2020, at the Robert S. K. Welch Court House at 59 Church Street in St. Catharines.
