It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Philip Steele passed suddenly at his residence in Grimsby on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the age of 64. Born and raised in Thorold, Phil was the son Ted and the late Nancy Steele. Loving brother to Vicky Hodge and Katharine (Barry) McDonnell. He is predeceased by his younger brother Andrew (surviving spouse Tracy). Caring Uncle to Derick (Jodie), Luke (Vicki), Melissa (Patrick), Holly (Tim), Matthew (Olivia), and Great Uncle to the growing family. Phil will be fondly remembered by his many cousins and by his guardian angel, Angel. Phil had a love for music, specifically Led Zeppelin. He was caring to those around him and was known for his thoughtful nature. A gentle Giant, his hearty laugh along with his quick wit will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
