It is with great sadness the family of Neil Edwin Savoy announces his passing on Sunday, March 31st, 2024 at his home in Thorold at the age of 83. Predeceased by parents, John and Winifred Savoy; brothers, Robert (Doreen), John (Julie); sisters, Bernice Shepherd (Stan) Constance Colli (Leonard), Iris Storer (Hugh) and Janet Savoy. Survived by his brother Donald (Mary). Loving uncle of Robert, Thomas (Charlotte), Nancy Savoy-Burke (Thomas), Andrew (Leslie), Christopher, Mark (Beverly) and Joan Dlugokinski (James). Loving brother-in-law of Mary (Robert).
Neil was retired from the Ontario Paper Company. He was a long serving member of Holy Rosary Church in Thorold. He was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for years and was recently recognized by the Canadian Red Cross for 19 years of loyal support. He was an avid sports fan and could often be seen at the Thorold Arena or baseball diamond. One more player at the euchre table in heaven. Uncle Neil was much loved and will be dearly missed by many more nieces and nephews.
