Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at home, on Sunday, October 6, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Maria. Determined, honest, and kind father of Mario, Roberto (Margaret), and Maria Cristina. Carmelo is survived by his siblings Rosario (Yutta), Costanza (Nino), Rocco (Linda) and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Carmelo will also be missed by his beloved cousins Carmelo and Rosa. Predeceased by parents Maria and Domenico, sister Caterina (Alfredo), brother Domenico (Marianna), brother-in-law and friend Antonio (Haydee), brother-in-law Juan Carlos and nephew Sebastian (survived by Romana and Paula).
Relatives and friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. with Vigil Prayers recited at 3:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., followed by the rite of committal at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
