SALDARELLI, John

Posted

Peacefully at the St. Josephs Life Care on October 26, 2019 in his 96th year, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife, Peggy, in 2014.
Loving father of Joe (Valerie) and Rick (Bibet). Treasured Dodo (grandfather) of Christopher (Erin), Andrea (Paul), Patricia (Brian) and Tina (Michael) and great Dodo to Henry, Sadie, Edina and Graham.
Survived by his brothers Mike and Frank.
John was a World War II veteran, serving with the Canadian Army in England and in combat in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
John was a carpenter by trade, construction  superintendent, builder and stationary engineer.
John and Peggy enjoyed their cottage at Turkey Point for over 40 years and especially enjoyed boating and fishing. His greatest treasure was his family who he loved dearly. We will be forever grateful for the love and guidance and security he provided.
Special thanks to Dr. Jeff  Manning and the staff at St. Josephs Life Care for the quality care provided to John.
The family will gather privately to celebrate John’s life.
