(Retired from G.M. Canada after 29 years of service) – It is with heavy and saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Frank, surrounded by his loving family at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in his 67th year.

Born in St. Catharines on March 24, 1953, Frank was the beloved and devoted husband for 44 years to Theresa (Ricciuto). Cherished father of Christopher (Lisa) Ruscio, Nicole (Brad) Shapland and Mary Jane (Dan) Haist. Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Eden, Jack, Dean, Paul, Sam and Charlie. Loving son of the late Frank and Jane Ruscio and son-in-law to Maria Ricciuto (the late Domenico). Loved and raised by the late Violet Ruscio. Dear brother of Donna (the late Alfred) Konigshaus, the late Ann and Carl Weller, Francine (Ken) Littlewood and Vicky Ruscio (the late Victor). Dear brother-in-law of Angiolina (Angelo) Gabriele, James (the late Rita) Ricciuto, Phyllis (the late John) Sergnese and Tony J. Ricciuto. Frank will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold.

Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday with Vigil Prayers recited at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Jurvinski, Hamilton General, St. Catharines and Shaver Hospitals who helped Frank through his final journey as well as countless friends and family who came to visit and raise Frank's spirits in his final months. He will be missed by many. Memorial donations to Holy Rosary Church Building Fund, Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
