Sadly, we announce the passing of our dear Mother Helga on April 7, 2024, at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Willy and daughter Angela. Loving mother of Wilfred (J.D.), Ziggy (Kelly), and Daniel (Carina). She will be missed by her siblings Renate, Wolfgang, Johnny & Ushie. Survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.
Helga was Born in Germany and at a young age immigrated to Canada with her family. In her younger years is when she met the love of her life Willy. They married and started their family, and raised their children together, and lovingly watched the family expand. Helga loved gardening, crafts & mastered the art of making beautiful jewellery. She especially enjoyed her last few years with many friends she cherished at Heidelberg Village.
In honouring Helga’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17th from 5-8 p.m. at Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144.
