The Welland Jackfish, Niagara's sports entertainment destination, is excited to announce a new 10-year partnership with Newark Brewing Company as the official Beer of the Welland Jackfish.
With this renewed partnership, the Jackfish and Newark Brewing will build a 1,400 ft² group and merchandise pavilion. The new pavilion will feature a 680 ft² group zone and a 40-foot shipping container Tackle Box merchandise store.
“We are so happy to renew this partnership with such an amazing Niagara-based brewery,” said Jackfish Majority Owner and President, Ryan Harrison. “Pond Water Lager will be returning along with a few new options from our friends at Newark”.
The new group zone will feature a VIP ticket which includes two hot food items, three Newark beverages or Pepsi products, unlimited water, unlimited popcorn, and a limited-edition Jackfish hat, all for $40. Tickets to this new area will go on sale April 1st.

The 10-year partnership is the longest in Jackfish history and will continue Newark as the team's official beer. In 2020, the Jackfish, in partnership with Newark, launched their own house beer “Pond Water Lager.”
After several years of brewing study and travel throughout Europe, Newark began their journey. Originating as a virtual brewery in late 2018, they proudly made our first batch in early 2019. By early 2022, Newark found a brickand-mortar home in Beamsville, ON where months later, they opened to the public. Since then, they have been welcoming beer and food lovers into our fully equipped kitchen, taproom and beer garden.
The Welland Jackfish are a member of Canada’s best league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The over 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
