Michael Leblanc couldn't be beat and notched a shut-out for the Blackhawks while his teammates scored three to dispatch the Caledonia Thunder in OMHA semi-final action.

The Thorold Impact Promotions Bantam BB Blackhawks hosted the Thunder for the third game of the semi-finals on Saturday at the Frank Doherty Arena.

The Hawks opened the scoring early in the first period on a goal by Jack Hale with assists going to Curtis Isherwood and Luka Radovanovic. Thorold would lead 1-0 after one period.

Midway through the second period, Matteo Digiovanni scored a power play goal to make the score 2-0 with an assist going to Andrew McCafferty.

Caledonia pulled their goalie with just over two minutes to go in the game but Ethan Fisher took advantage and scored into the empty net on a pass from Kyle Prendergast to seal the victory for the Blackhawks. The final score was 3-0 for Thorold.

With this victory, Thorold took the semi-final series three games to none.

Thorold must now await the winner of the South Muskoka Bears and the Napanee Stars before they know who their opponents will be in the OMH finals. That series is currently tied at one game each.
