Spartan season ends in Elora

The Elora Mohawks eliminated the Spartans from the playoffs last night

The Elora Mohawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead in their third playoff meeting with the Spartans and never looked back.

The Mohawks swept the opening round playoff Jr. B Lacrosse series in three games, taking the final meeting by a 12-4 score. All four of the Spartan goals came in the second period.

Sam LeClair and Alex Gaston each had three points for the Spartans.

Adam Brennan allowed nine goals before being replaced by Andrew Kidd in the Spartan goal.

Zack Cameron led the Mohawks with one goal and four assists while Trent Spear added three goals and an assist.
