River Lions back on track

Team is still undefeated at home

River Lions report submitted by Stephen Dyell, ThoroldNews:

The Niagara River Lions defeated the Saskatchewan Rattlers 97-89 Friday night.

Trae Bell-Haynes led the way again with 21 points while six other River Lions finished with nine or more points.

Yohanny Dalembert netted another double-double and is creeping closer to CEBL leader Sammy Muldrow in blocks per game. Tavrion Dawson scored a team-high 23 points for the Saskatchewan Rattlers. Niagara lost their previous outing in Edmonton 105-98 last week but they remain undefeated at home this season.

River Lions will head out July 11 to take on the Fraser Valley Bandits. The Bandits started the season off slowly before securing two wins in the last month. Niagara will then return home on July 20 for another game against the Bandits.
