This season, Thorold had two great groups of players participating in the developing Jr Hawks program.
Both groups were on the ice twice per week, mainly focusing on skill development but lucky enough to get some game-play action.
Jr Hawks 1, the team of players born 2012/13, had the chance to take part in game play recently in Lincoln. Jr Hawks 2 was made up of 2011 players. Starting in December, this team got to participate in the Niagara District loop and travelled to play in Fort Erie, Dunnville, Smithville and Welland to show off their game-day skills.
The season is wrapping up for both groups and recently just celebrated with an awards day.
A special thanks goes out to Mike Bolibruck for dedicating his time every weekend to both groups and ensuring all of the players were learning and having fun.
