The Thorold Newman Electric & Marine Peewees edged the Welland Tigers #2 in a close 2-1 game.
In Thorold's fourth playoff game, Ryder Boekestyn and Michael Mongelluzzo both scored player of the game honours for their "hustle, determination and true grit along the boards."
Boekestyn managed several good chances resulting in shots on goal and pouncing on the rebounds. Mongelluzzo made several great plays to help Thorold with the extra playoff hustle.
Thorold proceeds to their final two playoff games in Wainfleet and Welland this week.
