Four Aces win Aurora tournament

On Sunday, the team worked to secure their spot in the finals

The Thorold Four Aces Atom LL2 team travelled to Aurora on the weekend and came home champions.

The team started off with a tie on Friday, battling Clarington Thunder to a 2-2 score. The MVPs of the game were Ethan Lampman and Colin Hetherington.

On Saturday, the team came together and put up the points to get two big wins and advance to the semi-finals.

They defeated Aurora Tigers 8-1, and MVPs were Jr Connors and Jack Imerese.

Then, vs. West London Hawks, they scored a 7-2 win.  MVPs were Coban Boekestyn and Callie Maynard

On Sunday, the team worked to secure their spot in the finals. Results were a 6-1 win over the TNT Tornadoes and an  MVP nod for Ansel Fullerton.

Four Aces found themselves in the championship game against Clarington Thunder again in a battle of the undefeated. The game was intense and back and forth but MVP goalie Charlie Mallett shut the door to help Four Aces with a 2-0 win.
