The Thorold Anchors topped the visiting St. Catharines Cobras last night by a score of 13-3 in senior men’s baseball.
Dylan Dempsey led the team with four RBIs and Nick Schwab contributed three. Dan Boekestyn went two for four at the plate and scored three runs for Thorold. Ryan Dalley and Dylan Dempsey also had two hits each.
For the season, Dalley is batting .464 while Boekestyn is hitting .412 and Russel McKeown is batting .370.
Pitcher Justin Vescio-West got the win for Thorold. Thorold had 13 hits and 13 runs with 10 RBIs in the victory. The Anchors committed no errors while the Cobras suffered through three.
Matt Skubel led St. Catharines with all three RBIs.
