The annual Thorold South Fire Station #2 annual turkey and ham draw puts food on the table for more than the winners.
Last night 60 turkeys and 20 hams were given away in a series of draws. But the event is far more reaching.
Proceeds from such events help the volunteers support breakfast programs at St. Charles and Ontario Schools as well as supporting other organizations such as Muscular Dystrophy, minor baseball, the kids Halloween night, YMCA Longest Night, a student bursary and other local charities.
