The Thorold BIA, in conjunction with Thorold Lions Club, Youth Unlimited and the City of Thorold, will be hosting the Historic Downtown Car Show on Saturday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thorold’s’ 15th Annual Car Show will again be held in historic downtown Thorold. Vehicles will be displayed downtown along Front and Albert Streets. With the help of great sponsors Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, Thorold Auto Parts and Recycling, Hartzel Auto & Marine, Primerica, Riganelli's Bakery, and Impact Promotions, this is sure to be a great show.

More than 200 cars and trucks are expected this year, with entries from as far away as Buffalo and North Bay.  A sound system provided by Spirit of Sound will be playing oldies and attendance prizes will be given away throughout the day to registered participants. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. along Front Street.

The car show will be wrapping up around 3 p.m. As in the past, there is no attendance charge for the general public. Try your luck with our 50/50 draw or door prizes for participants. A fun zone for the family, including an inflatable and face painting will also be available.

Valet Bike Parking will provided by the Thorold Active Transportation Advisory Committee (TATAC). Ride your bike to the event and trust that it'll be safe when you leave it to go walk around, have lunch and/or do some shopping.

The Historic Downtown Car Show is an annual summer tradition for area car buffs and the downtown setting adds to the nostalgic atmosphere. In the interest of showcasing the downtown attractions, amazing restaurants and one-of-a-kind retail stores, many will be offering great deals and specials for all visitors.
