Dozens of boxes of shortbread were snatched up by sweets-lovers at St. Andrew's Church during the congregation's annual Christmas bazaar and luncheon Saturday.
Others indulged their sweet tooth by purchasing jars of honey made by Rev. Ken MacQuarrie and wife Shaunna, under their popular homemade label, Taste of Grace honey.
Little ones took their turn on Santa's knee and "queen-spotting," an activity Shaunna defined as searching for the queen bee burrowing within the MacQuarries' beehives.
As always, soup and sandwiches, and more sweets were served as diners took time to sit and chat over lunch.
