The Thorold Arena was the scene of a full slate of lacrosse last evening. The St. Catharines League (SMLA) has made Thorold home for many league games. Thorold players are included on their rosters and efforts are undeway to expand its popularity in Thorold.
Last night the SMLA Athletics hosted four games in Thorold, taking three of them.

Novice Athletics defeated Niagara-on-the-Lake 8 to 0
Bantam 1 Athletics defeated Niagara-on-the-Lake 9 to 3
Bantam 3 Athletics lost to Simcoe 9 to 2
The Midget Athletics team defeated Hamilton 7 to 3
