At the 6th annual Niagara Health Expo on Saturday, Oct. 19, “You can walk in for free to speak with doctors and practitioners with no appointment and get advice on ways to live longer, better, and happier,” said event founder and producer, Paul Carfagnini.
“At this fun event, with door prizes and raffles, you will meet the experts offering new ideas to improve your lifestyle and inspiring wellness of mind, body and spirit.”
In addition, visitors will have an opportunity to meet the staff from the new MedCare Clinics at Walmart Pen Centre to learn more about their array of healthcare services.
“The 6th annual event keeps on getting stronger every year as the Expo covers wellness of body, mind, and spirit,” he told the Thorold News.
“As a health fair, we take a holistic approach in producing the Expo. This means we cover health and wellness from head to toe, while helping people of all ages make connections for healthy choices. From brain training, mental health, hearing and dental care to foot care, local experts at the Expo offer free advice to live well.”
Carfagnini has booked 35 exhibitors offering booth displays, as well as a line-up of speaker presentations.
“As a free community event, visitors can step in with no appointment and ask their questions about their health concerns. As a community collaboration including Brock University Med Plus students, doctors, and practitioners, we are all working together. Proceeds from a 50/50 draw and Penny Raffle will go to the Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation to help purchase patient care equipment.”
The Health Expo runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Hotel Dieu Shaver, 541 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines.
