Remember to take your garbage out tonight if you don't want to be left with a big pile of bags over Halloween.
This week, Thorold, along with a few other communities, will be first out to receive garbage collection under the new every-other-week schedule.
Only the frequency of garbage collection is changing.
Residents can now put out two garbage containers (cans or bags) on their garbage collection day.
The Blue Box, Grey Box, Green Bin, and leaf and yard waste will continue to be picked up every week across all municipalities.
Appliances will no longer be picked up at the curb.
