On Friday, March 8th, 2019 at approximately 8:43 p.m., the Niagara Regional Police Service, the Niagara Emergency Medical Services and the St. Catharines Fire Services responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Linwell Road East west of Read Road in the City of St. Catharines, within the Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario.
Initial investigation revealed that a 2012 Nissan was being driven westbound on Linwell Avenue East by a 25-year-old Niagara Falls male. The driver lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment at the end of Linwell Road East.
The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an out-of-region hospital.
