OCS is now offering free delivery of weed in three Niagara cities

But customers in some municipalities will need to continue going to the post office

Niagara Falls, Welland, and St Catharines are among a set of new locations that are now served by Ontario Cannabis Store's express delivery system.

As a result of the pandemic, Canada Post seized their home-delivery of weed, prompting customers in Niagara to pick up their online orders from the post office.

Express delivery, carried out by Domain Express, is free of charge after the province declared OCS an essential service.

The government-run retailer also has a same-day-delivery option currently not available in the Niagara region.

Earlier this summer, a Toronto businessman announced that Thorold would get its first legal cannabis storefront.

Read that story here.

UPDATE: OCS now says Thorold is also among the locations served by express delivery.
