During a closed session meeting held Thursday Aug. 1, Niagara Regional Council formalized the realignment of the municipality’s organizational structure.
Effective immediately, Enterprise Resource Management Services (ERMS) will be permanently restructured and renamed Corporate Services.
Todd Harrison, commissioner of ERMS and treasurer, will assume the title of Commissioner of Corporate Services with several divisions now formally reporting to him directly.
Following a restructuring of the organization and leadership late last year, there was a temporary realignment of reporting structure that saw several divisions moved into ERMS. At its meeting Thursday, Regional Council formalized this reporting relationship.
The change allows the municipality to streamline and be more responsive in its administrative operations.
