What is your vision for downtown Thorold?

With an anticipated population growth of 30% in the city over the coming decade, the question is of burning relevance to many stakeholders in the community.

The Thorold Business Improvement Association is asking residents to submit their ideas in a new public online survey.

Questions revolve around what businesses or services residents want to see downtown, what the main purpose of downtown visits are, and what the BIA can do to make downtown more attractive.

“We think it is highly important to have the perspective of people from across our community to shape the downtown vision because the downtown is for everyone”, BIA Serge Carpino says.

The community’s input will be used in forming a new marketing strategy for the local BIA. As the City of Thorold undertakes the reconstruction of Front Street in 2020, findings from this survey will help form the foundation of a new Thorold BIA marketing and communications plan.
