Make your swing count this year! Hospice Niagara’s annual golf tournament has returned with two fun, convenient and safe ways to play.

While golfers won’t be teeing up together, they will still be on the greens, making a difference for people living with a terminal illness in Niagara.

Due to COVID-19, we are taking a new and innovative approach to the 11th annual Swing Hard for Hospice Niagara by introducing two ways to golf on your own time:

18 ‘Anytime’ Holes:
For the regular $80 cost of 18 holes at the beautiful Legends on the Niagara, golfers can play a round anytime over the next three seasons. For an even better deal, buy two or more rounds for $75 each.

All golfers have a chance at an awesome door prize — a basket full of craft beer and wine (value $250+) — and the first 175 golfers to register will receive a voucher for The Works.

Family Fun:
Looking for a fun-filled time for the whole family? Play a round of Mini Golf and/or Footgolf at the Brock Golf Course anytime during this year’s season. Each player receives a voucher for an ice cream treat from McDonald’s.

Junior (17 under): $8.50 each
Adult: $11 each
Senior (60+): $10.50 each

Where can I order a package?
18 Holes and Family Fun packages can be ordered online at www.hospiceniagara.ca/golf.

Hospice Niagara is not fully funded by the government and fundraising events like Swing Hard for Hospice Niagara are crucial to ensuring we can continue to provide hospice palliative care to more than 3,000 people across the region every year.

We are facing increasing costs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while donations and revenue from the events we have always relied on have significantly decreased.

“Swing Hard for Hospice Niagara is a great way to get outside and have some good fun, safely on your own time,” says Alicia Merry, Fund Development Manager.

“And while you’re out on the greens, know that you will be helping us provide care, compassion and dignity for people in Niagara who need it the most.”
