Hospice Niagara is not fully funded by the government and is facing increasing costs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fundraising events such as Five Car Draw help to ensure hospice palliative care is provided free of cost for more than 3,000 people and families across Niagara every year.

In fact, every ticket purchased helps Hospice Niagara provide care, compassion and dignity for people living with a terminal illness at home or in our hospice residence.

“While it’s fun to give away cash and cars, Five Car Draw also gives us an opportunity to reflect on the goodness of our community,” says Alicia Merry, fund development manager.

“We are forever thankful for the generosity of our corporate partners, our team of staff and volunteers and a community that stands steadfastly beside us.”
