One of the most well-known faces in Canadian hockey will be appearing side by side with celebrities from the tv series- and movie world as well as professional wrestlers and cosplayers at Niagara Falls Comic Con this summer.

Cherry has been keeping a low profile after his departure from CBC and Hockey Night in Canada after controversy erupted over comments he made on air.

Niagara Falls Comic Con, one of the country’s largest gatherings for fan-culture announced that Cherry will be appearing on Sunday, June 7, the third and last day of Comic Con, to sign autographs.

Tickets for photo-ops and autographs go on sale on Friday.

Other notable names include George Takei from ‘Star Trek’, ‘Hellboy/Sons of Anarchy’s Ron Perlman and WWE wrestler Jesse Ventura.

Comic Con attracted 30,000 visitors last year, said the organizer.
